I am happy and gay

There is nothing wrong in coming out in the open and telling the world “I’m Gay”. What the heck. Personal sexuality is something of a preference. If the society looks at me as a male, and I consider myself as a female, isn’t it my point of view?

What was in the closet decades ago is out in the lounge – sexuality. We must understand that some people are trapped in a body which they should not have been trapped into. Consider this, a smart young man, who is actually a woman. Has womanly feelings. Is feminine. Thinks feminine. Unfortunately, her body is male. Call it a manufacturing defect? Yes. Happens.

There is nothing wrong for gay people to feel derogated about having feminine feelings. Feminity is the sustenance of mankind. It is the basis of evolution and pro-creation. It is what created the universe. Don’t we call our Earth Mother Earth? Do we call it Father Earth?

There is nothing wrong in being gay. It is a matter of personal preference. As the world evolves, no more will stereotypes be stereotypes. Paradigms of sexuality are changing. People are no longer conforming to man-made rules. Man does not care what man has made.

Gay is not a concept or a trend. It is a reflection of what the modern day people have done. Gay men have been existent since the creation of man. Because most often, Gay men are Gay because of a biological disposition. Also, the environment they grow in becomes a determining factor.

Man loving a man is no longer a taboo. Because love itself is not a taboo. Long live love!

Some trends versus traditions in bringing up children

The trend is now to conceptualize the direction for children, rather than letting them on their own. The tradition has been to love them and care for them, and leave it to them to carve their destiny. But now parents are taking things up in their own hands. From choosing schools, to educational courses, and following up the process up to graduation, parents are always behind their children’s success. They are always on the lookout for any special talent in their children. To enable them to give their child’s talent an impetus.

When a baby is born, parents are now willing to conduct tests to find if everything is all right. Previously, parents would just accept what they got, and go no further beyond this. The trend is now to determine the sex of the child, and decide names. The trend is now to make rooms based on the sex of the child. Previously, or rather traditionally, the sex of the child was not determined.

The trend is now to learn the art of parenting. The tradition was to learn parenting principles from within the family. Parents have realized that even parenting needs method, and is indeed connected deeply to social science. This has made them take up parenting classes, which are a new-age thing. Parenting classes was literally unheard of decades ago. Parents are now willing to follow a method to parent. They feel nothing wrong in it.

The trend is now to have no labor pains during pregnancy and make it joyful process. The tradition was to give birth to a child with all difficulty. Almost like taking it to be diving will.

Gay couples can rear children

Gay marriage create a storm sometime back. Some states quickly endorsed it. A sign of the changing times, same sex attraction is now being discussed openly. What was virtually impossible decades ago is now possible. What more is the possibility of gay couples to raise children.

The society has become more tolerant toward same-sex marriages and lifestyles. They have understood that the need of the body and the need of the mind may not match always. Everyone is made differently. When a change in the fundamental constitution of a person occurs, it can’t be helped. It has to be managed.

Gays all over the world want civil rights. Gays are coming out in the open more than ever. They want to be treated on par with others. Considering this, it is fair to say that they have to be given the privilege of rearing children as well. Like other human beings they have the social and legal right to rear children.

Biologically, a man and a woman may be required to raise a child. When the child grows up, it will need the femininity in the mother to complete its development. If the femininity of motherly love can be given by a man, so be it. Even though it is an uncomfortable situation, it is possible. Quite amazingly.

Nobody becomes a gay or lesbian unless they strongly feel such tendencies. We must understand that. Their biological need might be fine-tuned for things that might not complement their physicality. Instead of shunting them, we should treat them on par. Give them the support. Tell them to live their life normally, and with their heads held high.

Does What You Wear Truly Reflect Your Lifestyle?

In the past, it was fairly easy to tell which class a person fell into simply by looking at his clothing. Fine material, expensively dyed, and adorned with jewels and other decorations denoted the upper class. Simpler clothing perhaps dyed but missing the jewels or other embellishments were signs of a middle class person. Old, worn, patched clothing was evidence that a person came from a lower class.

Today, it’s not that simple. “Distressed” clothing (jeans with holes already torn in them, slouchy, oversized shirts, and scuffed, worn shoes) are worn by celebrities as much as they are worn by anyone else. In fact, many people actually pay a higher price for clothing that was manufactured to look this way.

Some styles of Rocawear pants already have the distressed look, while others are manufactured with a crisper, newer look. So, if you see someone wearing these types of pants, can you really determine their social standing? Think about this. That person may be wearing Rocawear pants because he found them at a consignment or secondhand store. He doesn’t mind wearing clothing from such a place, because often you can find the best bargains at these outlets.

That same person may be someone who enjoys the look and comfort of Rocawear pants so much that those are the only pants he wears. His financial situation may be such that he can afford them easily, or such that he must save and sacrifice in order to buy that particular brand of pants. For him, though, it’s worth it to be able to wear his favorite brand of pants.

Charity for good of the society

Charity can be in many ways, it can be monetary, or by providing service to someone who needs it. Charity is an act where the person provides something or some service to others who need it without any gains from it in return.

Charity is an act of kindness and help, it is a way to show that people care for others. People can practise charity on their own or can associate themselves with the charitable institutions which work dedicatedly for the benefit of the people who need help in the society. There are lot of charitable institutions all around the world each of which work on a pattern of working on a specific weak link of the society. Charity

By the weak link it implies that these institutions work on any one or multiple causes that are there in the society like the poverty, child labour, education, women empowerment, support the mentally challenged people and many other causes that are cause of concern in the society. So people who are interested in charity can directly donate money in these institutions or work physically to help the people who need help. Charity is form of kindness and thus should be done with that intention; one should not expect things back in return of any act of kindness. There are many people who do charity only to gain popularity and media attention which is not actually a act of kindness. Charity should be carried out with the true intention to help the people who need it by the people who are able and bestowed with assets that many people around the world lack in.

Lifestyles of different classes

There is a vast difference in the lifestyles that is followed by the different classes as there is a difference in the economic standard that builds the society. There is a lower class in the society which earns in order to survive as they have to hardly earn their livelihood through different sources.

The middle class also lives in struggle as they are also not much strong economically but they also have to earn in order to raise their living standard and thereafter there are also much social responsibilities. The high class society is the one which is financially much stronger than the lower class and thus they are living in the luxuries of the world.

 

The word lifestyle is originally meant for the way of living that one owns and finds out the different pros and cons of the life. Lifestyle includes all the activities and the particular way of living along with the financial status of an individual. Lifestyle also helps in the growth of an individual as it supports and promotes the rise in living status through distinct ways like education and other aspects of life. There is a great difference also in the lifestyles of the individuals that live at different places as there is a great difference in their clothing, feeding habits, their languages and also in their natural environment that influences all the other factors on which the lifestyle of an individual depends. Thus there is a great influence of nature and the habitat in the lifestyle of an individual.

What is tradition?

Basically tradition is nothing else besides a belief or a custom to pass out the rituals from one generation to the offspring that are to be believed to nurture those precious things in their lives in order to attain more satisfaction and to live a happy life. The evolution of tradition is from the beginning of the well developed culture on the earth, as traditions are being followed by the kings also. Traditions can also be defined as the prehistoric customs that are meant in order to live a happy life, thus the previous generations provide them to the next generations as a blessing.

Traditions are the virtues that are being followed by the next generation as their customs. There are various traditions in the world; one will find a different kind of tradition at different places. These are actually made by the ancestors who are being carried out through several generations of the human beings. One must consider traditions as their fundamental duties but up to a mark till where they are right. Tradition basically shows the local culture of that particular group of people or the place where it is being followed. Traditions are the beliefs that are been made by the people in order to please the only omnipotent in this entire world that is the god. Tradition is also a set of rules that is designed in order to make society to live peacefully. Thus, they are being followed by the people through several generations. Thus, are being followed.

Giving to Charity for the Good of All

For all the ups and downs of the U.S. economy, somehow charitable giving has continued. Giving to charity is an act that goes both ways – it helps those in need while also feeding a person’s innate need to help others.

One of the most important aspects to giving is to find a charity that is run well and that is meaningful to the person who is making a donation. Many people support certain charities because they feel a personal connection to the work of the particular organization. For example, some people give to certain groups, like the Aids Walk or the Alzheimer’s Foundation, because they lost a friend or family member to that illness. Giving back to an organization like that is another way of supporting the loved one who suffered from the illness. Some people give to groups due to other connections; for example, some people may give to the Kars 4 Kids charity because they love toy cars and want to share that connection with kids in need.

It’s important to put some research into the charity you are interested in helping. You can learn quite a bit by looking at the group’s website, to find out what kind of events the charity is involved in and what their community outreach is. It’s worthwhile to pay a visit to a local office of the charity to meet people there and get a feel for how the organization is run.

The important thing is to get involved. Giving to charity is a worthwhile activity – giving to those in need matters, and it makes all of us feel good.

Lower Class Does not Equate to a Loss of Dignity

Low class is slung around by many as a derogatory term. It can be used as a term for someone who is slovenly, careless, rude, abrasive, and lacking in education. But does being low class mean that one has to play into the stereotypes that come with this term? It really does depend on the individual and the examples they set.

One of the definitions that come with low class is being at the poverty level. A lack of income means that life is lived in a a way that is shabby. Furniture is well used, carpets are worn and fraying, clothes are always one step away from being rags. Food is always short in supply and lacking in nutrition, leading to obesity. Education rarely goes past high school because earning money becomes more important to the family. It is very difficult for people at this level to rise past it.

Living this way does not mean that one has to fall into the stereotypes. Not at all. Utilizing skills such as sewing can go a long way towards alleviating a home that looks shabby. Taking care of ones appearance is another major issue. Allocating money to purchase healthy foods at the supermarket can eliminate obesity and related health problems.

What it comes down to is taking pride in how one looks. Living in a tenement or a trailer does not have to equate instant low class. Taking ownership of ones situation gives control over it. Stop blaming others for troubles and realize that only you can change the way you live. Money may always be tight, but at least you will be proud of what you can do.
